Densely populated areas are breeding grounds for disease. Most of the treatises touting urban planning cite benefits for urbanization that are specious arguments in the connected era.

For once, its nice to see nature destroying modern society instead of the other way around.

One thing you probably won't see reported in the mainstream media about COVID-19 is mortality rate correlated by age and income. I'm sure the very rich have little to worry about getting infected, but the other 99% of us, especially down into the lower 50-75% incomes, will make up a very large proportion of the mortality numbers.
