If you're seeing headlines about how China is "switching back to US soybeans" after Brazil's turned out to be contaminated

LOL no. It's like 5 facilities and 69K tons of soybeans.

Out of ~2,000 facilities and ~100M tons of beans shipped from Brazil to china.

I learned that some people are using AI to generate a summary of my book!

I therefore decided to compete with AI by writing my own summary, which I am calling Over the Cliff Notes.

The Over The Cliff Notes are here:

I also linked to them on the main page:

But nobody ever reads just the Cliff Notes, right?

Science fiction scenario:

Some company finally figures out self-sustained asteroid mining. Maybe they get their start in reaction mass delivery, but at this point they've got automated fabs that can maintain (and repair) themselves with what they mine.

...and then they intentionally cause a Kessler Syndrome situation in order to prevent any competitors from pulling the same trick.

RE: cyberplace.social/@GossiTheDog

There are two really interesting data points in that article.
1) execs are far more excited about AI than all other workers and are using AI more than anyone else
2) mediocre performers feel much higher benefit from AI while top performers find it more of a problem than a help

I'll leave the conclusion as an exercise for the reader ...

@GossiTheDog

I’m sure this won’t have any negative consequences in 5 to 10 years.
