My mistrust towards #Github just passed a tipping point, as its CEO resigned (yes, it had been acquired by #Microsoft a while ago, but it was still allowed to operate as its own company) and Nadella announced that he won't be replaced.

Instead, Github will be swallowed by the CoreAI department at Microsoft.

Which means that the largest (by far) storage of open source code is officially going to become just another piece towards Microsoft's plans for AI supremacy.

This adds a `git mri` alias so it is less to type:

git config --global alias.mri '!'"sh -c 'git rebase -i \$(git merge-base main HEAD)'"

If you rework commits for an already published merge request to update it on a forge like #codeberg, #gitlab or github please consider using

git rebase -i $(git merge-base main HEAD)

instead of plain `git rebase -i` .

This avoids moving your commits to the tip of main thus easing review as the diff between revisions won't contain unrelated changes that were added to main in the meantime.
