There are worries that FOSS solutions don’t have “reach”. And they worry that they will have the burden of moderation and potential legal challenges.

It is all part of the corporatisation of universities which are increasingly run by people who ape what they think is how a company should behave.

Those maps showing Greenland as a HUGE place are -- like most of the maps you still see in common use -- wildly misleading. They inflate land mass in the global north, and that was a political decision.
