Do you think LLM induced brain rot is reversible?

#AI #noAI #LLM #LLMs #vibe_coding

@lwriemen Yes, we will have to reengineer most of the stuff done after 2022.

@rhelune @lwriemen it reminds me of the situation with pre-nuclear-testing steel

@crowbriarhexe @lwriemen It is going to be exactly like that. Software archaeologists needed.

@rhelune@todon.eu @lwriemen@social.librem.one Uh... So... "AI will actually generate more jobs", right? (to fix all the mess)

Please, bubble, explode soon. Please, bubble, explode soon...

@cinnamon @lwriemen Yes but:
1. There are dystopian scenarios in which those of us who have had substantial software engineering experience before LLMs were unleashed onto general population will be mobilised to fix the code, even if we switched professions meanwhile.
2. Livelihood must not be contingent on (paid or otherwise) work!

The bubble is so fucking annoying, but "AI first" companies deserve to be left with no humans besides a few sloperators. I myself an thinking about leaving IT.
