@lwriemen After rightfully calling out Trump 1's border policies, AOC proceeded to never make a stink about it again during Biden, despite very little changing about treatment or conditions. She showed she only cares about immigrants when an R is in power (like a lot of liberals). Fundamentally, both Sanders & AOC are politicians, which means they are chiefly concerned with maintaining and advancing their own place in the ruling system, not with benefiting the populace.

@lwriemen regardless of what label we use to describe them, I think both have shown conclusively by their actions (or, more exactly, their lack of actions) that they are more concerned with maintaining their places within the Dem apparatus than they are with speaking truth to power...or to anyone else. After conceding the 2016 primary, Sanders turned over his massive contact/fundraising list to the Clintonites and did fuck all with it himself.
