@lwriemen interesting question. I remember how they were pushing MS Silverlight as the solution to everything under the sun... right up until the second they EOL'd it with extreme prejudice. I was working closely with a company heavily invested in Silverlight... they were with the receivers the day after MS torpedoed them. When you depend on MS for anything, you'll end up getting burnt.
