Remember folks, if the violence against civilians is carried out by state actors, it isn't terrorism, by definition. When the state kills masses of civilians, that's just...uh...business as usual. We don't even have a special word for it. This is all, of course, complete and utter bullshit.
If terrorism is violence against civilians to achieve political ends through the use of fear, then we should say the Israeli gov't has been involved in a campaign of terror against Palestinians 1/x

@GuerillaOntologist Actually, we do have a special word, war. e.g., the War on Terror. The War on Terror has been the justification for much civilian murder by the USA.
