Seems to me that the world might benefit if those taking up the reins who're not 'old white men' (yay!) realised that some old white men (*raises hand*) are committed to using their historical privilege to *undermine the broken social structures that gave it to them* & pull others up beside them. Also, some of us know a lot of useful stuff (historical & technical) & are keen to pass it (& the baton) on to the new, more diverse (&, I hope, thoughtfully empathetic) generation.

@lightweight You should have left skin color out of that, because in most cases, especially in tech, the narrative really stops at "old".
