@gemlog @elias @lightweight she actually learnt different software through college (I forget which). Started using Illustrator, photoshop and indesign in the first few years of working in the industry.
Changing always seems like a bigger hurdle than it actually is.

@alpinefolk just for fun, about 10 years ago, after using XEmacs for about 15 years, I decided to switch to Vim to see how the other half lived. Just to keep myself on my toes. Still using Vim at a relatively newbie level 😂 - still haven't managed to exit that first file. Also taught myself how to use my mouse left-handed just for fun. @gemlog @elias
I came from the opposite direction. I learned vi (actually elvis) in college and then tried emacs on a job, and I couldn't comprehend why anyone would prefer it.
