@lightweight I like your analogy, but not sure I quite get your drift. Could you elaborate on this?

@ByronCinNZ It constantly seems like everything is always nested within something else, and every time you think you know where you stand, you find you're implicitly within another level of nesting. It's like it's all perched precariously in a mist that perpetually obscures the firmament.

@ByronCinNZ I'm trying to write some prototype code to verify an idea that I have, involving some api interaction with an external service. I've written my own endpoints & trying to replicate & enhance what another (insufficiently rich) api client is doing, but I'm tying myself into knots trying to use the results in the same js file, not quite understanding the object hierarchy, e.g. which object I need to create (or is it implicitly instantiated?) to have the right methods available. Tangled.
