@lightweight I think the article is just pointing out that there is hidden complexity that has to be considered and managed. If the hidden complexity isn't being considered and managed, and won't be considered and managed, then online voting should be avoided.
@lwriemen yes. Essentially, #onlinevoting is a big fail until we have come up with an entirely new way of doing technology.
