Bit of a stupid longshot here.
Do any of you know of a way to terminate Cat6.....if you are colorblind? I've only ever been able to terminate Cat5 after trial and error, I usually can't tell the red from the orange from the brown. Or at least the orange from the brown. I'm not completely color blind, but enough where this is an issue.
@gedvondur Use a multimeter. If you're making both ends, it really doesn't matter if you get the colors right as long as they go to the same terminals. If you're only doing one end, then you'll be able to find the right color from the made end. I have trouble seeing shades of red, so I find it hard to tell red and brown apart, blue and purple, yellow and orange. Dark red on a black background is common and can be almost invisible to me.
