we want to get the first batch of the LS1028A open hardware CPU/RAM module for MNT Reform (or your own projects!) off the ground. you can preorder 8GB and 16GB versions now and will get a refund if we shouldn't reach 70 orders by end of 2022 (this should be doable, right!?).

@mntmn Hey, I know your company already seems to be super busy cranking out great products, but I have another product idea that I think would be great in your lineup.
In short I would recommend making a portable USB battery pack, utilizing LiFePo4 technology. Basically reuse some of the reform tech (set of 4 LiFePO4 cells + charger/controller + OLED system controller). If like the reform, the cells were replacable it would be to my knowlege the first of its kind.
Hey, here's a question for the world. I have been daily driving a #pinephone running #pmos #phosh (22.06.1) and most everything works perfectly. The only exception I have had is with bluetooth. Currently I am able to connect bluetooth headphones but they disconnect after playing less than a second of audio. Has anybody had better success? Am I missing the installation of some package that just makes it all work? Thanks in advance everyone!

@nitrokey Hey NitroKey, as a #postmarketOS dev this honestly gets me a bit worried. I've seen several companies jumping on the "Linux on mobile" bandwagon without realizing what makes the PinePhone and Librem 5 so great: mainline Linux kernel support.
Please make sure that if you make a Linux-based phone, it'll either ship with mainline support or has at least work going to it to make that happen in the future!
MNT Reform hands-on review by Hackaday! https://hackaday.com/2021/08/26/hands-on-mnt-reforms-the-laptop/
Just some screenshots of Shattered-pixel-Dungeon a fun little Roguelike RPG running on the #Pinephone
I showed this one before but I realized there is a .jar version in the LinMobGames repo now so you can use it on more then just Mobian. I just love this game it's not specially complicated but a ton of fun and I even played it before I had a Pinephone! :D
Big thanks to @ShatteredPixel (Twitter) for the amazing work!

INPUT magazine article on MNT Reform just dropped https://www.inputmag.com/reviews/mnt-reform-review-your-diy-laptop-fantasy-is-here-at-last
Valve just dropped the bomb. A cheap portable console like computer with Linux on it (and it's arch btw). It's called the #SteamDeck.
2021 confirmed year of the Linux portable gaming console.
