Question to the Mastodon experts: it seems my filters don't trigger on posts boosted by others. They clearly contain keywords I have banned successfully on regular posts, but when someone I follow boosts them, they are displayed. I don't need a technical explanation, just want to know if a) this is normal behaviour and b) what I can do about it?

@mr_creosote I wasn't filtering stuff as you are, but my experience is that boosts from people you follow will show up no matter what. So if you have some ideological disagreement with said person and they keep boosting stuff of that nature... Well I personally stopped following people like that and my problems went away.
I guess my recommendation is that you do the same.
@leimon Thank you for the advice. It is a pity, seems like clearly buggy behaviour, but I guess what you say is the trade-off to be made.
