There crystallizes a path to make a QCM6490 CPU module (with 8GB RAM) for MNT Reform... what do you think? If I'm not mistaken this SoC is also used in the Fairphone 5 so there are some synergies in terms of support. Also (some experts please correct me) this would mean quite up-to-date OpenGL and Vulkan support, could we finally run Blender?

@mntmn with the multiplication of CPU module, I think some solution to reuse old one would be nice. I'm thinking maybe a rackable enclosure where you can plug like up to 8 modules, providing them with power+network. A cloud in a box.

@gkrnours we do have a prototype of Rack Reform but demand for it seemed very low. we also pitched a multi module ITX board to nlnet for funding but it was rejected. i'm thinking to make a more compact case based on the pocket reform motherboard perhaps.

@mntmn @gkrnours If you can make something that will fit in one of those 1L business desktop sized-cases, I think you could potentially sell those like hotcakes. I personally love that form factor as well.
