I... do not understand ecommerce enough. My online store, sales tax, shipping/free_shipping, and now VAT because a large portion of my community is in Europe.
I think I can't have a store until Nerdlings grows large enough for me to hire someone who can do store stuff. :/
@shawnp0wers Were you using a tool like ShipStation to help assist the shipping side?
@kyle If only. I used shipstation when I was just sending stickers/plushies out. But this was a full blown Shopify store with fullfillment services from 3rd party companies. They have fulfillment in the EU, but things get absurdly complicated absurdly quickly when VAT comes into play.
And honestly, even the sales tax here in the US is not easy to figure out. Particularly when a fulfillment partner has a location in a particular state, requiring sales tax -- taxing, reporting, payment... UGH
