I was helping to test AGPS on the #librem5 ...and it works amazingly for me! I was able to get a GPS lock within 30 seconds of being in view of satellites, and it was reliable enough to use for navigation with #puremaps .
Right now the biggest challenge for me to use my L5 for navigation is that the phone mount likes to hit the power button while I am using it.
@kop316 Since I added a metal sticker on the back of my phone to mount it to my laptop docks, I added strong magnetic phone mounts to my car as well. They seem to hold things pretty well.
This was actually on my bicycle, since I live 3 miles away from my school. I borrowed my spouses phone mount to test it out.
I just need to buy a nicer one, which isn't a big deal.
@kop316 Ahh. Yeah I would be nervous using a magnetic phone mount on a bicycle.
