so, now you've spent around $150 for your computer, phone, and games. buying these refurbished keeps waste from the landfills. they are all really well supported and the computer has tons of replacement parts available on the cheap so you can repair it if anything breaks instead of throwing it away

for a computer, i use a Lenovo Thinkpad T430. You can get one of these on ebay for around $80. I replaced the harddrive in mine for an SSD so that ended up costing a little bit more, but now it runs about the same as a macbook air.

if you install linux (which these days is easier than installing Windows) you can get a free OS with all the common software you need for free
