Question for people who shave their faces with an electric shaver: do you have one that has lasted longer than a year?
Recently every one I buy stops taking a charge within 6 months to a year. I assume that all the manufacturers (Wahl, Philips, Braun, Remington, Panasonic, Amazon-allcaps-noname) are now the same cheap Chinese junk inside. Perhaps there is one that is not?

Replies seem to be split between "This shaver has been in my family for generations, my grandfather smuggled it out in his ass" and "I buy a new one every 6 weeks".
@jwz I suspect that the situation is very much “the one my family bought generations ago will be in my family for generations, and the one I bought six weeks ago will need to be replaced in six weeks.”
Can I suggest a non electric but purely superior option?
