#Sylpheed, the #mail client that I have been using for 2.5 decades has not seen an update in 2 years and the author has dropped of the edge of the world (I hope he is doing well).
So I am looking for a new mailclient for linux. My requirements are: lightweight, fast, can handle huge folders on imap (100k to 1M mails/folder) and does not require me to run a desktop environment.
Yes, that precludes thunderbird and evolution. Neither is lightweight nor fast.

@attilakinali https://notmuchmail.org/ can be addictive. Doubly so if you're into the Emacs ecosystem, but even without, it's got big benefits
