FYI the open pocket project: https://github.com/open-pocket/open-pocket
idk how far along they might be but @andyw8 seems to be keeping the readme up to date
What the fuck did Mozilla even do for Pocket besides buy them out and keep it hobbling along for nearly a decade?
Apparently the Firefox team for Pocket still hasn't gotten the memo: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/pocket/
I haven't even USED pocket for ages and yet this really pisses me off.
Yet pocket is the only thing that Kobo truly supports. I actually went out of my way to get Wallabag to export to my Kobo:

"But the way people save and consume content on the web has evolved"
Read: advertisers were getting really miffed that they were "losing" money because nobody was seeing their ads when Pocket saved their webpages
"Meanwhile, new features like Tab Groups and enhanced bookmarks now provide built-in ways to manage reading lists easily."
What the fuck are you actually talking about Mozilla?
https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/reading-list-for-firefox-desktop/idi-p/13565
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/bookmarks-firefox
They're just regular ass bookmarks that you could manage like every other browser???
The point of Pocket was a distraction-free reading space that kept a copy of the article to read offline.
If you're reading this thread... just let me know so I can write an actual blog post on this because I'm seriously annoyed at this decision.
@brandon please blog about it!
@keverets Ah thanks for the heads up :)
It's been fixed!
