Just found out about the IKEA Inspelning electrical plug that can integrate with #HomeAssistant and is relatively inexpensive but immediately available.
Will need to give one a try. I don't yet have any zigbee devices, so open to suggestions on the best way to integrate those into the system.

@keverets I'm also curious about these plugs. You'll need a zigbee coordinator like SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus or a smlight SLZB-06 (or the IKEA DIRIGERA Hub). There are other coordinators too.
Also in Home Assistant you'll need either zigbee2mqtt (an Add-on) or ZHA (an integration). Here's a video with more info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFklWvNPRCo
I currently use zigbee2mqtt and a SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus. My zigbee network is small, just 7 lights, but it works nicely.
