@amiloradovsky Yes, the idea of blue light keeping you awake was a conjecture from the 1970's, and was debunked. The same level of blue light has slightly less of an effect than red or green, so those "night modes" are actively worse. Just reduce brightness.

So, people may be doing the right thing for the wrong reasons.
