Debating self-hosting vs. finding another server for @reality2cast since I heard that server is on block lists. Since @mastohost is still overwhelmed, and I would like to make my life easier, I would love any and all feedback and suggestions. #newServer #selfHosting
@mastohost @reality2cast @katherined I suspect that various service providers will start offering streamlined mastodon hosting eventually but this has not happened yet.
@nickapos I think so too, but I’ll probably just go the DIY route.
@katherined I have been thinking about that as well but maybe as a backup instance. Not sure if that is even possible, have a second account backup the primary one. I like twit.social instance
