I'm honestly confused by all the people flat out whining about it being too difficult to figure out Mastodon. Just play around with it! Over on Twitter I was talking about it, and one guy said it seemed too confusing... and another said "it just takes 15 minutes to figure it out" and the first guy is now ranting that that's 14.5 minutes too long... Dude, get a grip.
@mmasnick I think the type of people who are curious enough to put in the time are more likely to be people I’d want to interact with. So far at least. 🤞

@mmasnick Also, “so far” is a few years now, and I’ve enjoyed the type of interaction here, but it has never been as active as the last week. It has been fun to see the recent excitement.
