After running into some limitations with , I tested as a desktop OS but experienced stability issues with GNOME. I think that’s pretty understandable given that GNOME is not a typical use case for Alpine. I’ve now returned to a fresh install of . It’s stable as heck, designed with GNOME in mind, and is fully open source. Say what you will about and their refund policy, PureOS is a solid product.
