This is an incredibly common failure mode on my old Oneplus 6 phones (which, granted, are now 8yo phones). I can replace a broken screen, I can replace a broken back, I can even replace the usb-c cable when the connector is shot.. but I have yet to figure out a hack to work around the antenna connector breaking on the motherboard.. This type of soldering is beyond my skill level. youtube.com/watch?v=ns60wNi6EuQ

Maybe next year will be the year that I finally find a phone upgrade that I'm happy with - unlockable bootloader, runs 3rd party rams, doesn't have a giant screen, doesn't weight 50 lbs, has a headphone jack, isn't just one giant block of glue, maybe even an easily-replacable battery? #PhoneUnicorns
