What is it that I keep doing on my laptop that supersizes the mouse cursor briefly? It has something to do with brushing against the (evil) touchpad. Environment is Debian/KDE/Wayland. Doesn't seem to be application specific.
@vegantacos Wow, I'm not alone. So maybe I can disable it in accessibility features settings, thanks. Do you also experience unintended zooming of the text / application window?
@johns Huh, I haven't noticed a zooming of text / application windows. Maybe the other option you're looking for is under Settings -> Desktop Effects -> Hide Cursor
@vegantacos I think the option is Accessibility => Shake Cursor, uncheck "Shake cursor to find it". Thanks for the clue about it!
@johns Oh, I get that on KDE too. I think it's an acessibility feature for finding the cursor's position, and it happens to me when I keep my finger constantly moving on the trackpad. Making it fill up half the screen is left as an exercise for the reader. : )
