One of the best habits for my bookmark tagging system is:

* Include where/who you got to the link from (if not just a web search)

For instance, I just tagged something "via-mastodon" (that's a big tag in my collection :) ).

I also do "via-personname" if it's someone I know.

Provenance, baby.
