After nearly two decades in the informal-but-awesome @creativecommons community, I’m now taking a formal position by joining the CC board.
I’m hoping to use the role — and this unique moment, driven by machine learning’s fusion of content and functionality — to build more bridges between open source and open culture, and ensure that there’s a role for open, and the commons, in this new moment.
