What events are you going to / speaking at in 2020? Trying to shake my calendar up a bit, looking for ideas.
@johns I am working out whether I can attend https://www.titleofconf.org/ which would be very lovely. I always want to attend !!Con bangbangcon.com and have historically gone, but can't assume I'll get a ticket. Sometimes I participate in the OpenNews https://opennews.org/what/community/calls/ and Public Lab https://publiclab.org/wiki/open-call community conference calls. And I will very possibly participate in the Recurse Center's "Never Graduate Week" https://www.recurse.com/blog/114-never-graduate-week-2017-how-we-planned-and-ran-our-annual-alumni-week .
@johns Not able to go but would like to: https://festival.oscafrica.org/
@johns
The Exascale Computing Project Annual Meeting, PyCon North America, and WisCon are on my list https://www.harihareswara.net/talks.html , and I will very likely also visit some instances of https://internetfreedomfestival.org/wiki/index.php/Coffee_%26_Circumvention and https://www.erewhonbooks.com/events and https://datasociety.net/engage/ . I'll likely go to, and potentially testify at, some New York state legislative hearings https://nyassembly.gov/leg/?sh=hear . And some NumFOCUS events, regional Python conferences, and https://csvconf.com/ are on my radar too.
