@graue I am still learning how to use Mastodon, I have to say what you wrote makes sense. However, I am still not convinced by the missing "quote" feature. On Twitter I use to post interesting links by quoting the original author's tweet (to give credit to him), and adding a short quote from the article itself. This will not be possible here 🤔

You can also get the URL of a thread, start a post with your comment, and put the URL bellow and post.

Or you can comment on the tread itself as your comment will show in your followers feed/timeline.
