You can also tweak the runlevel in /etc/inittab if you want it to autoboot into X11..

@felimwhiteley @LiNuXsys666 @JoeRess @8none1 I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that I still need to run startx manually on my *cough* Arch install because I convinced myself I wouldn't always need graphics, and it looked "cool" (but really I was being lazy).

@degville maybe some time in the future you can take a small step an use ly. If the thought of directly logging into a graphical desktop is too much you can still switch to a shell session there 🤣
