It's disappointing the number of new Steam games I want to play that are only on Windows (I use a Mac). I thought the Steam Deck would solve this issue, but games that need to use the mouse are often unplayable.

@grumpygamer it’s even more disappointing when I see games by studios that I know use Rust, and Vulkan or gfx-rs abstractions, with which there is absolutely no excuse not to do cross-platform. I think some people just hate Mac (I actually had to leave one development community because completely uncalled for hostility towards “entitled Mac users”:) 🤷‍♂️

@unjello @grumpygamer I don‘t think a developer needs an excuse to not support a platform. It is completely their decision even if it is as easy as running cargo build on a Mac they bought second hand. If they don‘t (want to) put in the effort for test and support after they built it for your platform… it would be even more disappointing if you bought the game and have a bad time with it.
