There are racists all sides of politics. The far left and the media (but I repeat myself) like to scream about racism on the right, but they completely ignore racism when it is on their side.

There are two legitimate concerns about Signal: they use real phone numbers as identifiers, and you have to trust Signal as the server operator as they don't allow their client to be used with other servers. While the server software is also open source, you have to trust that they're running the same version in production.

It isn't a cheap phone, but depending on your needs, the Librem5 is getting really close to being a decent daily driver. That would put in a debian based linux phone. (I am writing this from my Librem5).

Allowing women to have a private space is not being cruel.
Preventing men from entering a woman's private space is not being cruel or hateful.
The cruelty is denying women there own private space because a man decided to play dress up that day.
As for climate alarmism, in the 70's it was global cooling, the 90's it was global warming, and in the 10's it became climate change so that it could cover anything needed.

It should be obvious from my response that yes, I believe that allowing men to use women's restrooms is wrong.
As for "be in charge of saving the planet", the context was a response to the "world being on fire" which I believe is being blamed on climate alarmism. In that sense, so far the only things that Dem's have done is push forth idea's that would do nothing to solve the problem they claim exists.
As expected from those that can't figure out which bathroom to use.

If you're on a centralised platform like Reddit, this is what they can do. Centralised platforms have all-powerful leaders who can do whatever they want, and you have no alternatives if you disagree.
The point of the Fediverse being on lots of servers is that each server's power is limited. If you disagree with one server's actions, you can move.

The Apple nerd goggles cost 3500 dollars, which is two mortgage payments for the average homeowner. I wonder how many people will buy these things and then still complain that they need help repaying their student loans.

Businesses are not going to spend $3500 for computers that have to be adjusted to each user.
Most people are not going to walk around with stupid looking goggles on just to talk on the phone.
The tv has the best shot, but even with the tv, part of the enjoyment of watching tv and movies is watching with friends and family. The goggles mean everyone has to have a pair and even then they are too isolating to have an enjoyable experience.
