@black6_ @freemo @jlcrawf I hope you aren't referring to the Millennium pistol they made. It just wasn't designed for 9mm +p.

A 1911A1 is usually on the nightstand next to a bible and an 870.

@AmpBenzScientist

Im kinda confused by this response, what made you bring up the millennium pistol? We are talking about The Judge.

@black6_ @jlcrawf

@freemo @black6_ @jlcrawf The Millennium pistol couldn't fire 9mm +P when it first came out. That's rather rare for a modern pistol.

It's just a tongue in cheek reference to the quality. If you want a good M9 clone, Taurus made them with Beretta machinery and they seem to be of good quality.

The Judge doesn't seem to be lacking in quality but I did see them in pawnshops. Perhaps the original cost included buyers remorse. It wasn't inexpensive.

Taurus isn't a bad manufacturer but they have made a few questionable designs over the years. They seem to have made a lot of good quality clones of classic Beretta pistols. The list even includes the Tomcat and Bobcat.

I have had issues with the cylinder not opening on my judge. It has only happened twice. The second time I took it to a gun smith and had him look at it. He didn't find anything wrong, but it also hasn't happened since.
