Hollywood’s writers could strike, and you should be paying attention.
None of the must-see TV we all obsess over would be possible without the members of the Writers Guild of America who, after years of fighting for fairer wages reflective of the profits they help generate, will vote tomorrow to decide whether or not to authorize a strike.
It’s understandable if you haven’t kept up with why Hollywood might be on the verge of another big walkout, but The Daily Beast has an excellent piece spelling out why this is something you should be paying attention to.

Let them strike. They put out mostly garbage today anyway and the garbage that they put out is either a reboot or a spinoff of something else because they can't seem to come up with an original idea.
