@mk @verretor @matrix @Gargron stop using the google app store and build more deplatforming resistant technology. Stop trying to work with Google, or anyone for that matter. Self host everything or build systems that technologically prevent this type of control. "Regular people" who cannot keep up should be left behind, they are a lesser class of "people" who do not deserve freedom.

"Regular" people are not lesser and cannot be left behind. If we leave regular people behind, GoogleTwitBook will retain their power in our lives. Even if we can get completely off all of them (I'm very close.), they have their power based on sheer numbers of people. We have to convince people to leave for their and our own good. We cannot leave them behind.
@jlcrawf @verretor @matrix @mk @Gargron they want to be left behind, they love the walled garden. You cannot make them change, and frankly value is very low so it doesn't really matter. They are absolutely a lesser class of people who are effective sub-human. Programmed NPCs who do what their told and believe what they're told. Mindless and disposable consumers, just as they've been trained. Simple as.
