This is going to be a very controversial opinion, but I don't care.
#Gab had a fantastic format with the NSFW tag on every pornographic post.
It let you know what the post is on the spot.
There was even a feature in which you can block NSFW posts from appearing in your feed.
But ever since the rollout of the new format on July 4th, Gab has been absolute garbage.
Now, Andrew Torba is showing his true colors and completely banned pornography on here.
I'm a firm believer in free speech and I also believe that even the most outrageous speech should be protected.
Pornography is in that category of free speech.
In America, we have freedom to do whatever we want.
Even if it's wrong.
As you start banning things that you don't like, freedom begins to erode away.
I mean, what if Andrew starts banning people and things he doesn't like?
Eventually, Gab will become no different from Twitter.
Yes, pornography involving minors is illegal and should stay illegal.
That shit shouldn't be allowed anywhere.
But if it's between consenting adults, fine.
Let people make their own decisions and form their own opinions.
Don't restrict freedom of expression just because you don't like it.
Bring back the old format and everything will go back to normal.
@a, I cannot support your decision to do this at all.
You may disagree with my opinion, but I don't have to like yours either.
(Also, "Children will not be exploited and women will not be exploited." Apparently, men can be exploited. Same SJW argument for hate speech. Your hypocrisy is on full display, Andrew.)
