Ah, how long since I hadn't dedicated myself to enjoying good #synthwave! 
Between the job and stress, I haven't had the time nor mood to go on writing my #cyberpunk novel, but this music is super inspiring; makes me remember that feeling of escapism and wonder that I experienced while writing... 
I really needed this.
@yogthos@mastodon.social Can't even buy TVs without the crap built in anymore. I really hope a new trend of disconnected-as-a-feature appliances hits the market someday soon. Maybe @purism could lead the way if they get into the TV business.

There’s currently a “Jupiter will be so close you can see it’s moons in binoculars” article making the rounds. You can always see Jupiter’s moons in binoculars:
1. It’s so far away that if it’s closer it doesn’t make that much difference (planetary disc varies between about 30 to 50 arcseconds in diameter)
2. From our perspective Jupiter is always (almost) fully lit by the sun (phase angle does not exceed 11.5°), so it and the moons are pretty easy to see in the first place
