@alex Every ban you mentioned will be challenged all the way up to the right wing Supreme Court.
@jeremiahlee I'm not sure a repeal is any easier given the bipartisan bill process and 3/4 state ratification.
@jeremiahlee We couldn't even get the equal rights amendment through (though I would love to see another shot at that).
@jeremiahlee I don’t think you have to go that far to remove assault rifles, high capacity magazines, silencers, and other tools of war from civilian access. I’m not sure if our 2nd amendment right is necessary like it was when authored, but I still think there are mountains of things we can do before repealing a constitutional amendment.
