12yo #reddit account deleted. Is anyone here using #lemmy or #kbin? And why did you choose that option instead of the other one? I'm testing out both but feel somewhat ambivalent. #RedditMigration
@jc I'm a reddit refugee since the 12th because of the blackout. I didn't know about the fedeverse I was just looking for an alternative to reddit. Created an account on lemmy.world created some communities. But then I was like Mastodon is bigger why don't I create an account there. I like Mastodon better. Just more feature and it's mature. So I use lemmy for my subs and mastodon to c tohit chat and commenting everything basically. I've linked all my accounts in my profile. I love the fedeverse
I'm on both. It's too early to pick one over the other, so I'm just dipping my toe to see how I like 'em.
Honestly, since deleting my reddit account, I'm beginning to think I simply don't need to join another site and let Mastodon be my only social media.
@jc They both feel a bit immature and obviously they don't yet have the user numbers that Reddit has. I suspect it will get better over time.
