@immychan @absturztaube Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech are the new cool RNA vaccines, but Moderna has much cooler brand name (Spikevax and Comirnaty, respectively), https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-19_vaccine#Vaccine_types
it was somewhat surreal to see and hear a load of American lasses singing about being unemployed in the UK whilst being driven around by Captain Spock π
@jonne KÀytin aiemmin pÀÀasiassa gmailia selaimella, joten oikeastaan syy on Googlesta eroon hankkiutumisessa.

He has never been a quitter. To leave office before his term is completed is abhorrent to every instinct in his body. But as President, he must put the interest of America first.
Nancy Jo Sales's new book 'Nothing Personal' about dating apps has mostly been confessional gonzo journalism-lite coupled with standard Dem-fem outrage, but this bit about dating apps stemming from longstanding fantasies from Pygmalion up through late 70s/early 80s sci-fi with lady sexbots is pretty great.

@clacke I'm always amazed how heated discussion about billionaires gets considering that it too is just a game of numbers for a little fun, people, it doesn't mean anything apart beyond the accounting.
@icedquinn An emacs without lisp is like an emacs for vi users. vi users don't want to use vi. They want to use vi keybindings.
@icedquinn I deleted my original reply in order to not to have to apologize for being exceptionally pithy in my nitpicking.
@icedquinn Calling it "digestive disorder" is a bit much considering that 60-70% of adult population are lactose intolerant.
@icedquinn That's not what lactose intolerance means. "Lactose intolerance is a digestive disorder caused by the inability to digest lactose, the main carbohydrate in dairy products." I'm lactose intolerant, but symptoms I get from drinking milk vary wildly because they depend on what your gut flora does with lactose your body can't break up. Furthermore, there is huge industry making sure that lactose intolerant people can consume milk. 1/2
