As for Europe, yeah, maybe this is not the best decade to be arguing for it. But I think after only a few hundred years of it, only a decade with widespread centralized internet, a few decades with globalization and a century with industrialization, I think we're just new at it.

I retain hope that people will mature. I don't find the alternatives to democracy any more just.
