Does anyone have experience with aprs? Yesterday I tried to study using it with Python aprslib but couldn't find good documentation about it. I was able to get events until they stopped suddenly. How do I choose which server to connect to, or is it a centralized thing? How do i subscribe to specific aprs servers such as OGN? #aprs #ogn
@cos I assume that you have googled it and already seen Tampereen radiokerho page and know about http://aprs.fi/ but did you know it has info page https://aprs.fi/info/ and Google Group?
@jautero yep I found aprs.fi but couldn't figure out how to tap into the backend servers reliably. Maybe I'll need to join OH3NE IRC channel and ask there.
