Americans, do you have a "favorite" bank?
I have bank accounts with 3 major chains and I dislike each of them.
I used to belong to a credit union but they locked every couple of weeks due to foreign transactions, so I had to close that.
Features I need:
1. Good service (can be by phone)
2. Easy to use bill pay
3. Doesn't have an issue with foreign transactions (won't lock my account!)
4. Lets me do wire transfers online- especially foreign transactions
Any suggestions?

@jautero Yes. Checks are relatively cheap, and so the cost of a check transaction is ~$1.00- including postage and paper.
ACH transfers (US interbank transfers) are chep/free but unavailable to most people.
Wire transfers are fast (~1 hour) but they cost $30 for a domestic wire transfer and $45 for a foreign one, so I very rarely use them.
