Being on a new network reminds me of the early days of blogging, when writing felt (for me) like a way to organize my thoughts rather than to reach as wide an audience as possible.

Writing for personal insights and to possibly generate a discussion with a small number of people feels refreshing.

Got my Pinebook Pro earlier this week and installed Fedora this morning. Time to put this thing through it's paces. 😄

One thing that bugged me at #KubeCon - a person came to ask a "technical" question, looked at me + another lady at the booth (who's a product manager), declared "you two don't look technical, who else can I talk to?" TBH I've encountered this countless times, but after 20 years in the industry & still no progress? 😞

I just tested out the continuity camera webcam with my iPhone and MBP, and I gotta say, it’s REALLY slick. The camera connects almost immediately, there’s very little lag, I didn’t see much, if any, stutter, and the picture is FAR beyond that offered by the integrated webcam

Yes, you can get an external webcam that does the job just as well, but why would I when I already have a decent enough camera built right into my phone?

Oh just got a chance to boot #antiS (#slackware live) on a #MacbookPro (Intel CPU)
Luckily it booted into Xorg desktop but:
- no graphic card support (amd?)
- unable to use keyboard and touch pad
- no wireless network
;-)

Hmmm and looks like there is still long way for full Linux on Mac M1?

Cool, #AirFrance lets me select seats (standard ones - free) before check-in starts. Not many other airlines (that I've flown with) do that. Next week to #Valencia for #KubeCon! First work trip in 2 years 3 months!! Hope I survive it 😅
