The Librem 5 Mass Production Shipping FAQ – Purism

IMO the greatest barrier to all of the #decentalized platforms I use is discovery. #mastodon Lbry.tv matrix.org rss etc etc. How do I find new people to follow or new content I might like. As a #ML engineer by day I feel like I need to pick up the fight on creating #FOSS sdks for recommendations and curation that also keep all data client side or do distributed learning on users local data. Should I do a full blog post to flush out this idea more?

Interesting. Comes with a keyboard and can currently run LineageOS or Ubuntu Touch.
"Earlier this year, we partnered with F(x)tec to discuss how we can bring an alternative platform to a wider audience. The F(x)tec Pro1-X does just this: it’s the world’s first phone to run LineageOS out of the box, and you can also get a version running Ubuntu Touch OS.""
@gray LineageOS Android or Ubuntu Touch? What one would you have pre-installed on it?
"If you happen to love Linux or Android, adored the Nokia N900 and miss the glory days of physical keyboards on your phone, say hello to your early Christmas present. UK-based F(x)tec and renowned smartphone community XDA have joined forces to create a beautifully crafted, privacy-focused smartphone that not only looks terrific but marks a significant first: The Pro1-X ships with pure Android alternative LineageOS out of the box."
