@ilr @dearthofsid I still don't get the anti-tax argument. Do you NOT want the government to invest in the country's development which eventually comes down to your individual welfare or is it the fact that they DON'T? Because those are two different arguments.

@theycallmesarin @dearthofsid you don’t need the govt for making investments. Tax fed bureacrats have no incentive to perform because theyll never loose money even if the investment doesn’t work. Real investment requires real risk ie a private party ready to take losses. This doesnt mean we’re fans of ambanis etc because those are cronies fed by tax money and protected by that same govt. big business hates free markets contrary to popular opinion.

@theycallmesarin @dearthofsid in any case the anti tax argument had to do with consent. If people are so enthu about govt projects let govt raise money on gofundme / like a pvt company.
